Hi, I’m Megan Cagle, a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with over 15 years of experience in healthcare. My clinical background spans emergency medicine, orthopedic trauma, and family and rural practice—settings that require strong pattern recognition, critical thinking, and the ability to manage complex presentations under pressure.

My path into functional medicine became personal after my own diagnosis of Hashimoto’s thyroiditis. Like many of the patients I now work with, I was told my labs were “acceptable,” yet my symptoms told a different story. I experienced firsthand how conventional approaches often fall short for chronic, immune-driven conditions.

That experience reshaped how I practice.

Today, my work focuses on immune-driven thyroid and hormone dysfunction, particularly in individuals dealing with chronic fatigue, inflammation, hormonal imbalance, and symptoms that persist despite standard care. Rather than chasing symptoms, I use a structured, data-driven approach to identify the underlying drivers that keep the body stuck.

At GreenScripts, I provide targeted medical consultations, thoughtful lab selection and interpretation, and personalized nutrition and supplement strategies designed to support regulation—not overwhelm. My goal is to help patients understand why their body is struggling and guide them through a clear, stepwise plan toward improvement.

When I’m not working with clients, I enjoy spending time with family, staying current on emerging research in functional and integrative medicine, and continuing to refine my own health practices.
